“A great place to celebrate!” – stayed March, 2014.
14 of us spent a great weekend at Halzephron House celebrating a friends special birthday. Location and views are amazing. The house was perfect with fantastic living space, 2 large dining areas and a very well equipped kitchen with window overlooking the sea. I loved the decor and stylish touches. Bedrooms comfortable and all different, we were very cosy in “the cabin” and hope to try “the observatory” next time although the “Tower room” looks great too! Lucy and Roger are great hosts and so helpful both prior to and during our stay.Enjoyed dinner and a quick drink at The Hazephron Inn and would highly recommend “private chef” Ben Quinn who prepared and cooked a delicious meal for us all at Halzephron house on Saturday night. Unusual to find such a big stylish house with so much to offer.

“First Rate Cabin” – stayed March, 2014.
We arrived at the cabin at 10.45pm on Friday night to find the wood-burner lit and the cabin warm and welcoming. We stayed 4 nights and were lucky enough to have cracking sunny weather the whole time. The location of the cabin was perfect for exploring the Lizard and Penwith Peninsulas. Was wonderful to have our own space to prepare meals and come and go as we pleased and have cups of tea in the garden undisturbed. The amphitheatre is indeed a great location to watch the sun drop into the ocean. Morning runs to the Marconi Wireless Station along the cliff top coastal path were another highlight. A perfect base for a relaxing get-away.

“New Year 2013/2014”
12 friends and I spent NYE in this amazingly cosy house perched right on the side of the south coast. Coastal walks for miles all around, fun trampoline in the garden, amazing viewing deck / amphitheater on the grounds. Great bedrooms all very homely and sweet, bathrooms all clean, warm and inviting. The dining area was great for a large group, the lounge was perfect for watching movies in a group. Kitchen well stocked and the owners were quick to help with any questions we had. It’s a great location, we went when it was cold and stormy outside and still had fun, it just added to the dramatic location. Amazing pub 5mins walk away. Supermarket 15mins away. Seriously great place, great owners and we’ll be back in the summer or for another NYE soon.

We held our wedding reception here on 4/5/13 as well as staying from the Friday to Monday in the house, cabin and observatory, and we really couldn’t have had a more magical weekend. From start to finish Lucy and Roger were accommodating and thoughtful, even matching the flowers in the house to our colour scheme. The house itself is stunning and the surroundings are unparalleled! Every single guest has complimented our choice of venue and spent their time admiring everything from the orangery to the luxurious beds! I cannot recommend Halzephron House enough and we would love to come back for our anniversary, if not sooner. Thanks Lucy and Roger for such a special weekend, Leonie Handley x

Had a fabulous New Year’s week here. The house was spectacular. Every little whim catered for by the thoughtfulness of your home. Managed to enjoy every minute despite a lot of rain and a house full of 2-4 year olds. It’s a miracle!!!

Such a beautiful house, garden views – the best view I’ve seen on the British Isles. Everything you could want in a house. Thanks so much!

Thank you… we’ve never been welcomed into someone’s home before to play a gig and your home and family are so wonderful. Feeding us and looking after us – we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Hopefully you’ll have us back to play the amphitheatre.
