This is a house geared up to outdoor activity, and guests tend to spend their time on the beach, walking the coastal path, fishing, boating, rock-pooling, playing golf (Mullion Golf Club is a ten minute walk) and visiting local sights. Lizard Point (Britain’s most southerly) is a short drive away as is the Helford River and it’s glorious sub-tropical gardens and further afield there’s St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance and the Eden Project.

You can book a massage treatment at the house with our therapist, Fiona Lockhart. Or unite the body, mind and spirit with an individual or group yoga session led by Tanya Strike in the Orangery or on the lawn with the ocean as the backdrop.

Alternatively, we have an arrangement with a local spa where you can spend the day lazing by the pool, indulging in organic beauty treatments and a delicious locally sourced lunch.

If you would like a private chef to come and cook for you and your guests during your stay Ben Quinn will come to the house. He’s familiar with our kitchen and has had rave reviews from previous guests.

Halzephron House is perfectly positioned to reach many activities. Barry Mundy, a local fisherman in Mullion can take you out on a sea fishing trip or you could rent your own boat and spend the day pottering along the gentle creeks of the Helford River.

Why not try the ‘green gym’ created by the National Trust around Loe Pool?

There are plenty of wonderful restaurants that can be booked for you as well as the famous Halzephron Inn a mere 5-minute walk into the village. The owners have an insider’s list of the best places to source local produce and visit in both quiet and busy seasons.

If you need baby sitting let us know in advance and we will endeavour to find someone suitable.
