The observatory has 180 degree sea views, a wildflower meadow, firepit and BBQ for outdoor cooking and direct access to the coastal path. If you're lucky you might spot a dolphin (there's a resident population in Mount's Bay) or see the Milky Way through the telescope on a clear night. You can wake up to the ocean views from the king size bed in the wood paneled bedroom. The interior has beautiful limed walls, a polished concrete wet room with rain shower, a cosy living room with antique velvet sofa and large log burner. The kitchen/diner is small but includes a baby belling oven, Duallit toaster and kettle and Belfast sink. Every room has the epic sea view.
Being on the coastal path, the observatory is completely separate from the main house and subsequently is a short walk from the car park across the lawns. Remember to ask for the key to our 'secret' cliff top garden where you can often see Sammy the seal.
