Totally relaxing and a little gem! Stunning views and accommodation quaint and comfy. Beautiful walks from your own private garden, we watched dolphins, seals, sunsets and stunning array of stars in one weekend and still found time for the local pub which was lovely and friendly. Will return for sure ...stunning.

A little piece of heaven with breathtaking views along the coast! We loved everything about the Observatory. Inside it's beautifully appointed with everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle - comfy bed, rain shower, cute kitchen. Outside you have your own private garden where you can stargaze at night and see dolphins swim past by day. The cliff path starts at the bottom of the garden and the walks are simply stunning in both directions. This is the kind of place you don't want to review because you want to keep it secret!

Oh my! What a treasure this place is. Lucy and Roger must be so proud of creating such an idyllic corner. We loved the walk to Porthleven, pootling around The Lizard but mostly we loved coming home to gaze out to the blue sea over the flourishing wild flower meadow.

Thank you.

Breathtaking sea views, a wonderful location with pubs and restaurants in walking distance and a beautifully decorated cabin with everything we needed. Oh and the comfiest bed! Our host had left restaurant recommendations that were perfect and was utterly welcoming. Would recommend this place to everyone we know!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this lovely Cabin. Very warm and cosy with everything you need for a short break. The log burner was welcome on the one night when it was quite chilly. Good to have a large double-ended bath to soak in after getting back from our walk to Lizard Point. The setting is stunning, right on the coastal path and has some spectacular views. Will certainly recommend and would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Loved the location, peace and simple luxury. We were made welcome and enjoyed the non-intrusive hospitality.

We booked a 'minimoon' to Halzephron cabin for myself, my husband and our Cavalier King Charles for three nights at the beginning of November. We absolutely LOVED our stay and have already looked to rebook. Everything from the log fire, the bath, the secret garden, the views, the sunsets, the prosecco and cake on arrival, the comfortable furnishings (slept better than we have in weeks!) I couldn't recommend it more.

Beautiful cottage, wonderful views of the sea – and wild life - have seen seals and dolphins from the cliff top. The evening walk to and from the pub is lovely and so is the pub!

Halzephron Cottage is a very special place. The views, sunsets, accommodation, local pub and walks are all stunning. We especially enjoyed the coastal walk to Poldhu Beach with its lively café.

Absolutely stunning, we don’t want to leave. The most wonderful place. We will miss walking down to the beach to watch the sunset.

We’ve had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Halzephron Cottage. Can’t speak highly enough of this area of Cornwall – so fantastic to get away from the maddening crowds and enjoy the peacefulness on offer. The house is fantastic – just about everything we could have wished for. Lucy and Roger have created a uniquely cosy cottage with lots of luxuries. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful week’s holiday.
